The Role

 

The Senior Data Analyst/manager will manage and develop the full life cycle of our Data Platforms. The role involves a broad responsibility encompassing data input, templates, standards, data quality, output and use of the credit data which is at the heart of Global Credit Data (GCD). The successful applicant is expected to become an expert on the GCD data models and to forge a strong working relationship with member banks at operational level and to be a part of the global Operations Teams handling data platforms, IT, Compliance, PM Office and Administration.

 

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • GCD Data Platform Owner/Manager: End to end GCD Data Platforms Ownership ( LGD, PD & Rating and other data pools) by Ensuring Proactive maintenance and automation of data platforms, Investigating and solving issues,  Executing changes (planification, specification, development follow Up & User acceptance Test), Submission Cycle run ensuring smooth Member data banks submission and adequate reporting to various stakeholders, Second Line Support regarding owned Platforms
  • IT & Compliance Management: Ensuring the owned platform is implemented according to high quality standards and is compliant with (Cyber security, ISO27001, Soc 2 Type 2).
  • Design User-Friendly data products: Develop and implement intuitive data products for customized reports and visualizations, improving data accessibility and user experience.
  • Automate Processes: Streamline key data pipeline to ensure scalability and efficiency across the organization.
  • Collaborate with Professionals: Proactively work with credit risk experts and technical experts to develop tailored solutions that support data-driven decisions.
  • Organize Conferences: Attend member conferences with the capability to present, moderate discussions, and manage the conference session.
  • Ensure Data Quality: Conduct thorough reviews and analyzes of data submissions from member banks to maintain highest standards of quality and consistency.
  • Relationship Management: Manage relationships with third party service providers

The Senior Data Analyst/Manager is expected to become an expert on the GCD data model and to forge a strong working relationship with member banks at operational level.

The job will be performed with the supervision, support and direction of the Head of Administration, Data, IT & Delivery and in follow the directions of GCD strategy, set out by the CEO, the Board and the Methodology Committee. 

  

What we are looking for

  • Education: Relevant University degree(s)
  • Experience: 5+ years’ experience in data analysis/Management within the financial industry, focusing on data Pipeline Development, automation and management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with data Python programming language, with experience in automating data processes, and developing online data access tools preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Fabrics & DevOps
  • Data Visualization: Expertise with tools like Power BI or Tableau and handle large, complex datasets.
  • Project/Task Management: Ability to independently own, manage, and organize assigned tasks and projects, working autonomously and reporting effectively.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent networking, presentation, and collaboration abilities. Proactively seeking team support/ feedback when appropriate.
  • Confidentiality: Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and self-motivation.
  • Work Environment: Ability and experience to excel in a flexible, remote work environment, willing to travel to member banks and conferences, primarily in Europe.
  • Additional Assets: Knowledge of GCD databases is advantageous.
  • Credit Risk Methodologies: Familiarity with PD, LGD, EAD methodologies is a plus.
  • Compliance & Cyber: Experience with cyber security, ISO27001, Soc2 Type 2 Certification,BCBS239, RDARR and general suppliers’ assessment is a plus.
  • Microsoft Cloud: Knowledge & Experience in Managing Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 is a plus.
